The zoom no longer works when in video  mode but it does work when taking photos. It seemed to occur around the time of the update about 2 moths ago. The latest update did not correct the situation
Any suggestions as to how to fix this before I   contact DJI to send in for repair?

Hello, there. Sorry for the inconvenience. You may refer to the information about the  zooming function in Video mode:

4K: 2× (Note: The zoom function is not available if recording 4K 48/50/60 fps videos.)

2.7K: 3×

1080p: 4×; Zooming is not supported in Slow Motion and 1080p 120 fps.
