Out yesterday with my Grandson and his new Mini 3 non pro version.  Not really windy but a little blustery especially over 50m.  The mini 2 was far more stable in the wind than the mini 3.  The mini 3 was all over the place, drifting up and down and left to right.  I suppose the body is quite a bit larger on the 3 so caught the wind more.
Just an observation.

Ive found that with the plus battery the wind resistance is much better.  

I agree. I have a new Mini 3 with fancy RC video remote, and my mini 3 is not nearly as stable as my old Mini 2 was, I don't recomend trying to fly it indoors like I couldwith the mini 2.

Thanks Rockbyter, I wonder what is going on. I don't think the body is anybigger but slightly different configuration. In anycase theMini 2 works great, just wishIcould use the fancy controller.
