Thanks DT.    Just had an email from DJI and it didnt go to the trash.

The drone I returned needs IMU,  GPS and gimbal arm replaced after they did diagnostics on it.  All to be carried out under warranty.   Which is handy as I was expecting a fight.

So it seems the replacement Mini 2 they sent you was never refurbed before it was repackaged and sent to you.  If it had been refurbed they sure missed a lot in the QA check.  No doubt that HAS to be covered under warranty for sending you a defective replacement.

It had 10 flights on it when I got it so I suspect the original owner had the same issue and they didn’t detect it.

Maybe it failed in shipping or something though,    It was fine for the few few minutes of flight and then slowly got worse.

Wow, so it might even ship today.  That would be fantastic.  Now if only your weather would clear up so you can give it a good test flight.  Maybe you can use it to capture some impressive snow footage next Thursday.  But then, the Mini 3 Pro would be jealous.  Ahhh, just fly both on the snow day.

I've been out walking and dodging showers all day. Very windy here too. Definitely not drone weather.

I was just checking the weather and we have 60% chance of snow Monday now.    Gusts upon to 42 at the moment and 47mph at 150ft.

Still sitting somewhere waiting to be picked up I'd assume.  

I love it when DJI says we shipped it and UPS says they don't have it.  No, DJI you prepared a label and notified UPS it was ready for pick up.  I'm told per UPS policy each package must be scanned immediately upon pick-up or delivery.  Whether that actually happens is open for discussion.

Sounds like Tuesday at the earliest but more probably Wednesday.  As long as it gets to you in time to capture some snow footage that would be really cool.
