I use my drone for surf checks mostly, and fly to the same spot every day. It's about a mile away, and it sure would be handy if I could just add a waypoint on the map to help me fly to it. (Better yet would be if it could fly there automatically, but I gather that's not possible).
As it is I'm watching the camera feed and trying to figure out where the drone is the whole time.

When I click the map in the DJI Fly app I can add a pin, but I can't see a way to save that pin so it's alwayas there.

Any tips to make it persistent?

Set up a Hyperlapse waypoint mission. Let it take just a couple seconds of video then go into manual mode and take the video you want. Then RTH.

You can save it. Then any time you want to, rerun it.
