Apologies if this has been covered, but either the search function on this forum does not actually function, or my search-fu is weak.

I was just wondering what the main differences are between DJI GO vs. DJI Pilot, and why I'd want to use one vs. the other.
The device I bought to run the app is an iPad Mini 2, and I have a Phantom 3 Advanced.

There's no choice. GO is just newer version of software.

but we can still use the Pilot app with the latest firmware, right?

I don't think so.  My phone actually had the upgrade forced onto it.  I had avoided it for awhile, but it finally just did it on its own.

I had the same thing happen. My phone was up-dated while I was napping one day. That's what I get for having time on my hands....
