Hello,

I just buyed the OM6, eager to use it with my Xperia 1 III. In Mimo App for a brief time I was able to record in 4k. Unfortunately this was a one time thing. Since then just 1080p30 is the max. After chatting with the support and looking into the supported device list it turned out that Sony Xperia phones are not supported at all. That's unfortunate and I'm now regretting buying the OM6 (which is overall a superb tool). Since the Xperia devices are crying to be used for filming (especially with the 120 fps) there's no option to switch phones (I rather buy the upcoming 1 V). Please make Sony phones compatible - if that would be possible in the next few months, that would be awesome!

to date it is not possible to use the Mobile 6 with the Sony 1 IV. What should I do with 1080p and 30 frames? I also have to use the DJI app to run the gimbal. Shame DJI. I expected more

Yes please, it's such a shame it's not supporting my Sony Xperia 1V.
Is there any plan DJI will update this? If not I may just return my Osmo 6.

I find it ridiculous they do not make it compatible with the xperia phones.  I did manage to get the OM 5 working on my 1 mk 3 but now it has the app removed from the playstore for it.  I now own the 1 v and obviously that is not going to happen with the OM 5 or 6.

Every support member keeps saying that they are passing the feedback to other teams but we never get any update. I have a month to return the gimbal so that's what I'm gonna do because it is unusable with my phone. What a shame.

I appreciate it but that is just not enough. I've already paid for the product so I assume it will work.

I've returned it and bought a gimbal from a different company. Their app does not have any problems with my phone and there is no compatibility list. My phone just needs to be made after 2016. Also I'm able to download it from the Play Store.
DJI should really get these things sorted. At least make the 4K option available and let me find out myself if it's stable or not.
