As DJI have just released the Mini 2 SE, with a 2.7K camera (same as original Mini SE), why can't the original Mini SE have digital zoom? And yes, I know that the RC N1 controller included with the Mini 2 SE has a zoom wheel, but there is no reson not to have buttons, like 2x, 4x, or even a slider to change zoom on original Mini SE. And while it may not give full control of zoom in video situations, this function would be very helpful in making orbit zoom shots, and would overall be a good feature to add. Please, DJI, give  us the answer to why this feature is not a thing. Thanks!

Well, TBH, digital zoom is useless anyway.
You can always do that in post if you feel like it.

I've found that digital zoom often incurs a loss in picture quality.  The technology behind digital zooming does continue to improve.  Eventually, the quality loss issue may be solved altogether but, for now, it remains a concern.  Besides, I currently get much better results by doing it in post.  

Might be worth having the digital zoom if the 2 SE internally has 4K and uses that when digitally zooming. Otherwise I'm with Monty and Downtown. At least more flexible in post.
