So before I take off in a NFZ, I go through the steps of receiving the code via text and then entering it in the controller. But this code is only good for the zone that I take off in right? What if there are a few different NFZs all next to each other? Will I be able to fly freely though them all or will it stop me at the border?

If I have to do that I pre unlock all the zones and sync the controller.   And the online unlock lasts 3 days which is nice.    https://fly-safe.dji.com/unlock/unlock-request/list

Hi, John. Thank you for reaching out. Regretfully, you won't be able to fly if you don't have a license in that restricted zone. You'll need to request to unlock other restricted zone as well.
