Masts off........

Seems this little yacht ventured out without their mast on.    Sadly it dissappeared so I didnt manage to see where it went.

Great shot DA.    That's a really nice boat.  Very odd to see the mast missing.  Maybe out for repairs?

Thanks DT,  Sadly I lost track where it went,  and with the weather being a bit gusty I didnt want to fly over the moorings looking for it,  when the weather improves I intend to see if I can find it again.

Hopefully it didn't go under...

Went down for sunrise this morning,  the forecast was for wind but looking out the window it appeared to be still,   but when I got down towards the Castle it was still windy. I took one flight but there was nothing of interesting going on.

Dang, that made for a dull morning then.  Sorry to hear Mother Nature did not provide a nice target of opportunity this morning.  Hopefully, tomorrow morning will bring something exciting.

In that case the quarry you shot recently should finish filling up.  An occasional rain is tolerable but every day for many days gets frustrating, especially if you need to do some outside chores or go fly.  If it is any consolation it has been too windy here to fly now for 2 straight days.

That had to be an interesting run as it is next to impossible to dodge hail falling down.  Years back it hailed so hard in Northern Virginia that many windshields got cracked.  I guess the contributing factor was that the hail was the size of golf balls.

Luckily thats about as big as we get,    Id just picked up a sink cushion for the MIL so I used that for protection.
