Hello everyone. I own the phantom 2 vision plus, since last June . I missed the first in SEA , having problem in gps, and got another new. Until a week face no problems posting absolutely . day before yesterday and while doing flight and while I had totally CHARGED BATTERY , when he went to 70 % began to flash the red lights and warning for battery problem . When I returned to my home , I upgraded all new fimware from dji, and try again today to see how it will behave . But again the same problem . showed and message on the smartphone "battery cell damage not recomended for flv"one knows what to do about it , and what to look for ;thank you.

If you run the PT2 assistant and show us a screen shot of the battery page it will help to diagnose the problem.

I forgot to mention that the battery I have in my possession about 7 months, and usually recharge when the level of 40-50% was usually not allowed to fully discharged. I do not know if this is incorrect.! If you know someone how they should behave in the battery to prevent and harm, let us help. the other battery I have in my possession and enjoyable.

Well to me those values don't look too bad, but I am no expert so i hope that someone from the DJI team can jump in and explain them.
With a warning like that, I would just buy another battery to be on the safe side.

You should be discharging to < 8% once every tenth cycle then fully recharging per their recommendation.  Are you storing them fully charged?

usually yes. charge them 100% and stored. rather this is wrong. also do not ever discharged more than 45% and that this hair is wrong also. ie now the battery this is damaged;

that may discharge the battery without making flight with the phantom; and how to do that;

I think that the latest update, if the battery in 10 days not used, do discharge by itself. but do not know if there are other ways to do it manually.

If you read that bit at the bottom of the photo it tells you how to maintain the battery.
After 20 flights, discharge down to 8% and fully charge.
