Spring is a difficult time for Virginians, specifically for farmers. The state receives late freezes every spring, costing many farmers their crops for the year.During 2021, Madison County, VA, (where this photo was taken) many wine vineyards lost up to 80% of their crops. In 2022, growers lost up to 50%.
This year we are anxious yet again. Will we finally have a fruitful spring? Or will we be surprised with another late freeze?
