I recently became aware of the excellent way to review spherical panoramas on the remote controller, but is there a way for others to see the spherical shots on a desktop ?

You could create a free skypixel account and post and share the link from there.  That way can be seen on a PC or MAC.

I usually share mine privately with https://pannellum.org

You could download the FREE App FSP Viewer to view them on your own PC. An uploading them to your Free SKYPIXEL account, then posting the link for others to click on, works fine.
