What flight mode should we use for indoor flying with the Phantom 3P?

leave it in p-gps with vps on or if you are really brave use atti. depends on your skills. my suggestion is dont!

Yes I did leave it on P GPS, and it worked very well! OPTI mode it said, wchich it took indeed optical orientation, sonar well, landed it self very gently.
However once I flew over 5meter height, the visual/optical got lost, and the P3 began to drift slightly. Easy to pick it up on the Stick controls, lower the height to around 3meters, and Opti Mode kicked in again. Stabilized itself totally in one spot again!!! Very impressive to say the least.

How about compas calibration? Did you make it inside?

No, I did not calibrate anything inside the large Gym Hall. It began with slow green lights soon after IMU warmed up, and all went perfect from there on in.

Bps only works up to 3 meters
