Anyone else have a rattle in their RC controller? If I hold it like I'm flying it with thumbs on the sticks and I gently shake it back and forth, there sounds as if there is something loose in the controller, somewhere in the area of the fly mode switch or the antenna area.

I have the same loose switch rattle. If I hold a finger on the switch the rattle stops. No big deal.

Its probably not the switch perse but more like the actual button itself, i suspect that the wee hole that sits on the switch lever is perhaps a tad too big, perhaps during manufacturing, the switch was changed for like for like except for the lever, either that or someone screwed up the dimensions for the required hole.

As you've found out, its nothing to worry about other DJI's manufacturing team, its probably down to the team prior to that actually but hey ho
