Well things were looking up,  but I came out of the supermarket to torrential rain. which was unexpected.

I’ve just been told it was a pork shoulder.     Confused I rushed out to check and SHE WAS RIGHT.  Some idiot put reduced pork in the lamb section.     Just call me an idiot.   Although they did stick the reduced label over the pork but.

It’s barely stopped since.  But in other surprises I had to go to the hospital to collect parents as mum was discharged.   Not entirely convinced she was ready but we’ll see.

Oh wow, thought she had additional tests and results to wait on.  Hopefully, no complication crop up over the weekend.

Same again today,   woke up to torrential rain this morning that persisted whilst I loaded the car with all my camera gear for doing passport photos today,   

Hare you been effected by the flooding out there? or being on a boat your safe?

The tests were taken late Thursday so the results were back Friday.  Seems a bit better this morning.

Just been in two more shops and still no lamb shanks,  Tesco has so little lamb theres probably more in our combined freezers.

Mrs. B has us well stocked with lamb.  I'm just contemplating a walk down the towpath to Marple. It's bright but breezy after early fog.

Passport photos.....planning that trip to Iceland now?

Our area had up to 2 feet of rain but no problem for me on my boat.  The water in the inlet leading into my property and boat dock has risen about 12 inches.  The nice thing is it filled my newly expanded pond right up to almost the top.

That's a great capture.  Curious angling of the horns on that species. I'd never noticed before.

hahaha,  no.  not yet.  The changed the rules here recently so that you need photo id to vote in the elections.   And of course the MIL and her friends are all preparing for that and found that they either have out of date ID or it runs out soon. And some of them needed new photos so the MIL suggested that I could do that for them.   Nothing I hate more than photographing people,  but most of them I got on the first shot,  and using natural light.  Although I did take enogh light stands to sink a ship.
