After the RC was updated with new software the connection between RC and aircraft is lost. I need to pair the two.

For some reason the Magic air 2 will not go into pair mode.
After pressing the power button for at least 4 seconds until sound confirmation. After 4 seconds simply nothing happens.
How can this be resolved?

You might need to refresh the firmware to see if that will help.

As you mentioned that this issue occurs after updating the firmware on your RC, kindly download the DJI Assistant 2 software on your computer and please update/refresh the firmware of the aircraft and also the RC then check if the issue persists.
