It sure is! Especially when it comes through town honking its horn at 3am. The town is currently working on turning Main street into a "quiet zone" from dusk to dawn. I can't wait!

Unfortunately, there will not be a railroad quiet zone (nighttime or 24-hour) in Orange until the community and Town are able to raise the $1M+ needed for changes at the grade crossings in order to qualify. And, it costs about $6000 for Norfolk Southern to come out and draw up a plan for FRA quiet zone compliance.
