Recently took a road trip from San Diego to Granbury Texas.  I loved the small town feel I got in this little city.

Great shots Planner.    How in the world did you end up in the small town of Granbury?  I've been there several times and fished successfully in Lake Granbury so I know that area well.  Lots of culture and history in that area for sure.

Hey Downtown,
I'm a few years out from calling it a career.  My wife has a nice who lives in Granbury.  We did the road trip to Giddings, Tx to visit another niece and then Granbury as a possible place to retire.  After Granbury, We drove to Lubbock to visit my cousins who live there.

It was a good trip

I'm a few years out from calling it a career.  My wife has a nice who lives in Granbury.  We did the road trip to Giddings, Tx to visit another niece and then Granbury as a possible place to retire.  After Granbury, We drove to Lubbock to visit my cousins who live there.

Always important to seek out a nice retirement location.  I saw a recent article where lots of people are leaving California for places like Texas.  A lot of companies are heading in that direction also.  I had plans to retire in Texas but all of my kids lived in Florida so that is why I ended up here.  Best of luck in finding a choice retirement location.
