Yes. Joyriders usually burn the interior rather than the engine bay. You're probably right.

Interesting find DA.     Yikes, that outing didn't end well.  Appears that a fire started in the engine bay and it got hot enough to melt the paint on the body parts nearby.

I think it was just fire damage and maybe some damage from the fire services.

That sounds plausible to me.  I'm guessing it was towed off shortly afterwards anyway.

A friend of mine had one of those and about the same age,   a woman drove downtime side of him and scuffed up two doors and a wing and that was written off so no doubt that would be too.

Most car insurance companies here are quick to write off a car as totaled as it usually cost more to have repairs done and reimburse rental car fees, etc.  The metal scrappers love it when that happens.

They have brought a Lambo to do,  but whilst they were picking it up they also made a video about another guys Senna.

Growing up if you went to the local woods etc at the weekends it was hard not to find one or two.   I ventured into some woods near the MIL and found 3 or 4 burnt out shells but they must have been there a while.
