I purchase a Mavic 3 Classic last year while on vacation in USA. I noticed that the box indicates my drone has EU C1 rating but the drone itself does not have the C1 marking. How do I get that label. I need to know as I am now working and living in the EU.

Thanks for your attention. C1 certificate is applicable to EU regulations (all 27 member states of the European Union plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway,Swizerland ). Mavic 3 Classic (EU) already has a C1 certificate, and other versions of the Mavic 3 series do not have it yet. The application process for obtaining the new C1 class identification label for the Mavic 3 series is written in the thread and DowntownRDB copied, too:
https://forum.dji.com/forum.php? ... &extra=page%3D1
You are recommended to apply for a C1 certificate according to the relevant guidelines if you need to use DJI products in EU regions.
Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks but you did not answer question. My drone came with C1 rating. It was on the box (see middle photo). But there was no c1 label on the drone itself. It should be on the front rotor arm but is not. You instructions are for Mavic 3 and Mavic Cine. Mine is a Mavic 3 classic. It should not need any software updates as it is already compliant. I just need the label to put on the drone.

I did open the app and there is no pop up for beginning the application process.

Can you send me the label? My aircraft serial # is 1581F67PB229U00201ND

Please note that since your drone is a US version, you need to follow the  DJI EU C1-label application process (https://viewpoints.dji.com/blog/ ... nLcfCng-93627947628 )  to get the label and certificate document. Please refer to the following two links for detailed instructions.

Thank you for your response.  However, my drone is a Mavic 3 Classic, not a Mavic 3 or Mavic 3 Cine.

The instructions you have provided do not work for Mavic 3 Classic! I tried to follow the instructions and did update firmware last night. However, there was no popup to start the application process. In otherwords the following did not happen "
Step 2 – One Tap
As soon as the firmware is up to date, a pop-up will lead you directly to the C1 label application – just tap "Apply"

Without the initial popup described above I cannot start the application process!

My guess is that there is no popup because I have a Mavic 3 Classic not a Mavic 3 or Mavic 3 Cin. I don't understand why you don't acknowledge that key point in your responses.

Will DJI establish procedures for people that purchased a Mavic 3 classic outside of EU to obtain C1 labels?

That only works for Mavic 3 or Mavic 3 Cine, not for Mavic 3 Classic.  My Mavic 3 Classic had the C1 rating on the box it came in but when I got home and opened the drone was not marked.  The drone does have the firmware limitations for EU operations so is technically compliant.  Just dont have the stickers.

Is there anyother info that you need? I tested my Mavic 3 Classic again today (i am in Poland). It does appear that it has all the firmware updates that meet EU C1 criteria.  So it is compliant....any chance I can get the stickers?
As I note I have made my flight logs in my DJI app avliable to DJI so you can see its flight history is here in EU.

Can you provide me with the process for application for a Mavic3 Classic that was sold without the proper C1 label?

Sorry for the late reply. As we explained above, only Mavic 3 Classic (EU version) has a C1 label. For the other version, after upgrading the firmware, you can fly according to the specifications of the C1 label. The application process for obtaining the new C1 class identification label for the Mavic 3 series is scheduled to be available to all customers step by step. You are recommended to keep close attention to the update on our official web: http://dji.com Thanks.
