Hi everyone
I just got from vacation in Baleares islands with lots of video done with my new Action 3.
But when I started to watch them on my PC : I could watch them until a specific date, then from next day, I could watch no video.
When I look at video info : all video I can watch have a resolution of 3840x2160, and the ones I cannot have a resolution of 4096x3072
I guess I did something wrong.
So two questions:
- how can I move back video resolution to 3840x2160 ?
- how can transform the video resolution from 4096x3072 to 4096x3072, so that I can watch videos on my PC (and also my TV)
Thank you so much for your help, so I do not lose all those precious videos, and so that I can make in the future videos I can watch.

Once you shoot at a  selected Resolution, post edit to your  desired one.    you are more or less relying only of file playback and not editing, correct?

@Fishycomics   Thanks. Yes my first objective is playback. Next if I can edit to adjust exposure or noise with free tool or app, it woukd be great, What tool or app can I use to first reduce the resolution ?

Next how can I shoot video again in 3840x2160 ?  

Did you put it on 4:3 ratio?
You can just crop in post 1.340x to get 16:9 ratio

If you shoot 4K in 16:9, the resolution will be 3840x2160.
If you shoot 4K in 4:3, the resolution will be 4096x3072.

I never tried editing videos on any phone app, but with any editors on pc/mac you can do it easy.

And like I mentioned before, 1,340 x zoom on video will fill up the frame completly so it will show up as 16:9 if used on a 16:9 timeline.

@johansenfoto  @Fishycomics   Thank you so much for having answering to my request.... Because of your help I could watch my videos on TV, and will have no more issue in the future
