With the amount of rain we get on the West Coast there is no surprise why we get far "more" snow up in the mountains  than anywhere else in Canada. Skiing in June is not unusual, this year, with a bit of luck, is shaping up to be one of those years as well. I do remember 1998/1999 record season when chairlifts had to be dug out.

Pretty awesome. One highlight was catching the icicle dropping from the tree    It's hard for us Brits to imagine such quantities of snow, and for such long periods.  Amazing.

Wow, that is some spectacular winter views.    When you have to dig out the chairlifts you know you have a record snowfall.

You bet, u're basically sitting on the chairlift sliding skis uphill , no climbing skins needed.
