Hi all.
I'm thinking of investing in a pocket 2 to live stream my brothers wedding in August to my YouTube channel.
Has anybody done this and if so what will I need?
I'm assuming I'll need the smart pocket 2 adapter to link wirelessly to my phone being used as a hotspot.
Thanks.

Hi, BIGTONE. Thank you for reaching out. Livestream is not supported by the smartphone adapter. A live stream can be performed only using DJI Pocket 2 Do-It-All Handle.

Here are the instructions for Youtube streaming:
1)YouTube official - Getting Started Tutorial for Livestreaming:
https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2474026?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&oco=0
2) YouTube Official – Create a live stream on a mobile device:
https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2474026?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&oco=0
3) If you have not done a live stream on YouTube, please refer to the steps below:
(1) Go to YouTube.
(2) Tap the “Create” icon in the top-right corner to start a live stream.
(3) If you have not verified the channel, please follow the steps to do so.
(4) After the live streaming function is enabled for the first time, you may need to wait up to 24 hours. You can start live streaming once the function is enabled.
4) If you have live-streamed on YouTube:
(1) Ensure that live streaming has been launched immediately in the DJI Mimo app until you see the live streaming screen.
(2) Visit the YouTube official website. Tap the “Create” icon in the top-right corner of the official website. Then, tap “Start live streaming”.
(3) Tap the “Manage”  icon on the left of the page. Then, find the current live streams on the right list. Enter the Details page.
(4) Follow the requirements to fill in live streaming information. Tap “Save”. Then, tap “Start Live Streaming” in the top-right corner. Wait for a moment. You can see the live streaming screen sent by DJI device on YouTube.
Notes:
When logging into YouTube, it may take several seconds to load the account information if the network environment is poor. We recommend waiting for several seconds or attempting to log in several times.

I don't think streaming through USB is possible. I think you need to do it wirelessly with the Do-It-All Handle using the RTMP protocol.

It looks like with the handle I'd be able to pair the camera wirelessly with the cellphone but it doesn't say anything about macbooks/computers.

This is a boomer.... I wanted to use it for music streaming and it'd be great if I could use my audio interface that is for PC/MAC

One way that is possible to pull off is to direct the RTMP stream to the streaming software on PC, configuring the connection ready on both the PC (I suppose Mac will also do with the right software, though this is outside of my area of expertise) and the Mimo app on the phone.

The instructions on PC for this can be found at https://forum.dji.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=298131

The instructions allow you to use the RTMP stream from the Pocket 2 as both a virtual webcam and restreaming to a social media service through OBS. Unfortunately, I do not know which programs work as a substitute for the mentioned Windows PC apps on Mac, but I am pretty certain there is something there that will work as well (there even is a chance that some of the same software is also available for Mac).

I've also heard that some video controller devices such as ATEM Mini series can deliver RTMP from the stream to computers, so that could be a possible option as well.
