I saw a thread a while back about selecting "precise landing" on an air 2s. Ive gone thru every single option in the menu, and never came across anything about precise or other type landing, Am I missing something?

The take-off needs to be pure vertical to a height of 7m or more, no horizontal movement commanded.
I do not know if the climb must be one continous climb.

The check I use to tell whether a landing is going to be a precision landing is watch the drone as it RTH's. If it is going to precision land it will, when it arrives over the home point, turn to face in the direction that it was facing when it took off.

You need to ensure the following things -

1. Make sure the landing and corresponding areas are well-lit.
2. Acquire more than 12 Sats before motors on, making the Home point confirmation read aloud.
3. Ascend to ~7 meters and hover for about 7-10 seconds.
4. Do not reconfigure your landing area after take-off, meaning no large changes to your stuff's physical locations, like moving the landing pad or any large bright object out of place.
5. (Optional) Before commanding to land, tilt the camera downwards.
