I've read that shooting 4K with the X9 uses the entire 8K sensor, which means the camera is downsampling. Exactly what method of downsampling is being used? Line-skipping? if my intent was to shoot the best quality 4K video, I'm trying to determine if it would be better to shoot in 8K and downsample in post with a NLE like Resolve... or.... if it would be just as good to shoot it natively in 4K since the X9 is downsampling already from the full 8K sensor? This all depends on the method of downsampling on which avenue would be best. If one of the DJI engineers could chime in on this, that would be great. Thank you.

I would also love to know this and how they are able to do full frame 4K cdng raw. As far as I know, the only other camera that can do something like this is the ursa12K typically there would be a significant crop because it is raw.
