Good to see that at least a little blue sky was showing.    Hopefully, the sky cleared up shortly after so you could enjoy a good weather day.

Full sun now and very windy,   but that doesn't matter as I have the food shopping to complete this morning.   Hopefully the wind will drop and I'll have a cheeky flight this afternoon over the village.

I'm seeing the same issue.  I even tried cleaning the cache on my browser, logging out and logging back in and still no icons or avatars.

When I returned from the bike ride and washing my truck the forum issues are not fixed. At least it wasn't just on my end this time.

Yeah they did.  this morning there was a huge black cone shaped cloud in the sky,   it turns out there is a huge fire at the local industrial estate.    But at the moment Im a bit stuck for the ride London race.

It's the Rugby Premiership Final ( Saracens v Sale) this afternoon. Absolutely unmissable even though it's perfect flying weather

From some googling from the photos that Ive seen its in a rubber matt factory.   Which would explain the black cloud.   Funny thing is Ive been in that factory some years ago when it made insulatation for another company.   It was a fire risk back then so Im not surprised.

Yes,   it was quite the local event.   Except for my friend that lives in walking distance that somehow missed it.

I was walking back from flight 4 yesterday and came through the grave years to see my neighbour measuring graves,    I made a joke about how he shouldn't steal th granite for his rockery.    Turns out he was checking sizes as he feels like the graveyard has ripped him off.     He then notified the time and walked back with me for the Rugby.

The local services are asking people to close their windows and doors but it seemed to be getting pretty high as there was very little wind which was a good thing in this case.

Heading shortly to see a pirate ship,  its the last day it's here in Southend and I had totally forgotten until yesterday that it was there.     Trying to figure out whether to wade out to it and then fly or pay for the pier and take off from the pier and beg forgiveness if someone complains.

Yes a couple of idiots threw orange paint powder around. We were willing a couple of the beefiest rugby players to tackle them and flatten them into the turf, but we were disappointed.  Play was interrupted for about 5 minutes, while they were rounded up and arrested.
Can't wait to see pics of the pirate ship. Just walking and Geocaching today, for me.

I thought the players were all told not to get involved.

The ship pics are posted,   although the weather wasnt as good as it was when I was at the castle just a couple of hours before.
