The old Mini 3 Pro did a super job though,     Sadly I got caught up with ambulances so never managed an afternoon flight as I had planned.

The tent is still there,   it's got a well established path now and a some sheet laid out in front.

Not really,     another diabetic incident at my parents,    mum called to say dad wasnt well,   I went over (its only 3 miles) and gave him some glucoboost and tried to get him to drink sugary drinks without much luck,  and as he was getting worse and refusing to drink I had to call them.   Fortunately he's not furious with me today.

Sorry to hear that.  My daughter that works as an RN in the Emergency Room says she sees lots of diabetics in stress.  Seems many fail to do their twice daily monitoring or do not adhere to their diabetic diets.

He monitors much more than that,    but his problems are very strange so after some more adventures he's now monitoring at least hourly.

Wow, that is quite often.  However, doing it hourly will identify issues quicker.

That will be much easier on him with the CGM and of course much more accurate and quicker to pick up the spikes and dips.

He was just being a bit obstinate which is not uncommon in older folks.  No doubt it did perturb you a bit.

I had a frustrating experience today myself.  Sometimes I just want to reach through the phone connection and grab the idiot on the other end by the throat.  The person I was speaking to did not have English as his primary language and after repeating myself 5 times I finally gave up and hung up.    Unbelievably, when I called back I got the same guy again.  I asked to speak to a Supervisor and finally got through to somebody that spoke English.

I feel you there,     most of the call centres here are outsourced abroad and they can be very painful,   A the live chats they provide are usually just a waste of time.

I appreciate you commiserating with me on that issue.  I've got over it but it doesn't bode well for a company to outsource their customer service to a company that doesn't have native English speakers.  Just another way big companies hose their consumers.
