I'm wondering if anyone here knows of a release date of the 8K version of the 4D? From what I understand, this model was available for a short while, before going into a long "out-of-stock" status. Is this due to it using the same sensor as the X9 Air version?

On the store page, when you click on the 8K version, and then click on the 6K model, it briefly shows "Expected delivery date: 18/07/2023", before disappearing. Is this a realistic timeline?

They've been pushing it back for a long time now. I think originally it was going to be December of 2021? If I remember correctly. I know the 6K version was, and then it got pushed back to like March or April of 2022 when we actually got them.

Hmm okay.

I wonder if we'll see any progress now that the X9 Air is being shipped.

I thought the same thing. There must be a reason they aren't releasing it... might have something to do with sourcing the sensors or with reliability of the large files. Who knows.
