Looks like I need a micro SD card; there are so many (not just capacity; I've planned on 128GB) but MicroSD v Micro SDHC v Micro SDXC v Micro SDXC-UHS and 9 speed classes.

How about a car charger?

I am using Samsung Evo plus mSD cards since I also use them in my underwater camera. They are robust, waterproof, resistant against magnetic fields, high temperatues and xrays. Pay attention to the U3 speed index.
Connection is standard USB-C, correct. I prefer using the SD-card directly for transferring to my computer. For car charging, I did not choose any special things. Just standard 2.1A power adapter with USB. Don't expect too fast charging speed in the car, but good to have it "just in case".

With the SD card, you have to pay attention to the write speed.  This is specified exactly at DJI.  You should never "save" on it...

A car charger is always a good idea!   

Mini 3 has  USB-C port,  but you'd be better off removing the sd card and using a reader for it with the laptop.   But the drone comes with a cable if you want to connect it to a computer.

If you have a speedy computer, you can really benefit (transfer speeds) if you use a SanDisk Extreme Pro microSDXC with a compatible SanDisk card reader.
