Hi there!

I was not aware, how easy it is to create this.
The people of my little village love it!

Very nice.
These spheres are (IMHO) the best way to show 'us' the world you are flying over.

Exactly.
I love making them.
Just wish they would add a AEB option to get more dynamic range.

I have also saved the DNG files, but I have still not looked for a MAC-app to create this kind of sphere with DNG or highres Jpg files.
Any recommendation is welcome!

I'm on Windows.
But DNG is not enough for me.
I need more dynamic range from the AEB 3 (or 5, but my M2 does not have that)

What a lovely shot and village.

Unfortunately, the drone tends to do a good job of stitching, due to higher awareness of camera angles. I'm using PC, and I can use an old version of Microsoft ICE (which hangs around on the internet), which works OK automatically on a couple of default settings.

Great. It might improve the woo factor, if you can get a few panoramas uploaded onto Google Maps Street View. Google is continually closing this feature down, so you need to post stuff all over their maps while you can.

It used to be that you could upload onto the street view map at some arbitrary GPS point, but this has gone.
If you are in a super rural area that the google 3D view car has not gone through, and the streets are legitimate, you can use a real street address to upload from. It is resistant to uploading panoramas on fictional street addresses, but some can be done.

If the 3D car has done the street, you can still upload on store/business sites. Many people take pictures inside stores, and they get put into the library of pictures of that store. When people observe that store on google maps, they will see all the pics, which will have your panorama in there, and they will wonder what it is, and have a look.

Street View is currently a "layer" on google maps, like terrain, or satellite.
