Hello everyone,

Has anyone tried a long exposure while rotating with a Mavic 3?

I was not able to do an 8 seconds top down exposure while making the drone rotate on itselft. It always captured about 1 second or so. It seems the drone prevent capturing long exposure while rotating.

Any advice/answer welcomed.

I was able to take this while rotating. Made from 267, 2-second exposure photos with the Mavic 3 Enterprise. And DJI doesn't even have a Hyperlapse mode for this drone.

Hummm ok.  I meant rotating while looking straight down.

My goal was to create something like this ?lb=1280,720 but seen top-down. I setup the drone for ISO-100, 8 seconds, f11. I tried a few times, but each time not getting any movement in the picture. It seems like the Mavic 3 its preventing such shots by forbidding the spinning movement during long exposures.

I just took my Mav3 Pro out to check this. I set my image exposure to ISO 200 (?) 8sec, f11 and tried to take an image. No luck. I didn't bother transferring them to my computer to check the exposure but in viewing them on my RC Pro they looked like blurry images with a slightly longer exposure...1sec? They were not THAT blurry...and the screen seemed to freeze after a second but the exposure did not seem to finish till the full 8 sec. I'm not sure why I would ever want to do that kind of exposure but there may be some creative use for it. In any case I can confirm that I cannot do an 8 sec exposure while the camera is looking down and rotating.
