Anyone tested that already? Any drone firmware update? Because after the last resets of the settings any new update is making me nervous

I am interested to learn if camera settings resetting is fixed in this version.

Do they call this a update? more like a adding, I believe it's only for the RC-N1

It won't work until 14 becomes official. Why should ANY app developer spend time working with an OS that is constantly changing? Especially as complex as the Fly app.

But I don't have problems with any other app.
It's just DJI fly.

Maybe your other apps aren't controlling something that could crash or fall out the sky if something went wrong.

Who has been complaining about the voices??? With all the request for real issue, this is what the engineers have been busy with???

New Voice... Now why didn't I think of that??? Oh, wait now I remember... I can't use the Autofocus, it is overheating while updating, the image is shaking, the maps are unusable, no real raw, (add your issue here)...

And this is only with the Mini 3 pro... I think DJI needs to get their priority straight...

Something we can agree on, the maps are a real issue for me, I have not once used whatever that training thing is, and other voice prompts such as Landing etc were fine so what gives DJI, what a waste of time!

Make my controller stop losing connection to the drone, improve the range to at lease 10% of stated specs, make the camera settings stop resetting,  make the gimbal not recognize a standard ND filter as a wide angle lens.

I couldn't care less about a voice I just silence anyways.

Its been proven that it can actually go further than specified, its all down to your environment, atmospherics and how you hold the controller.

A reset of the settings is a pain and i have put forward a simple solution that's fallen on deaf ears and that is for the user to be able to save the settings to an .XML file

As of now it's just the app. Nothing for the DJI RC.

Is not a firmware update. You probably need to have the RC connected to the internet then look for updates for the DJI app, not firmware...

Me too waiting for this bug to be resolved.

I suspect DJI wanted to push an update to restrict height but to get people to upgrade needed a new "feature".  Hence voices.

They quite often hold features back to package in with an unpopular upgrade to "encourage" people to install it.

To be honest, if the authorities saw a 60m tall person flying a drone I don't think they'd approach them to tell them they were breaking the law.

And how big is that drone... It's certainly not a mini...

In aviation terms it's called altitude AGL (above ground level). Up on the mountain/hill the EU rules apply the same as at the base of the mountain (120m AGL VLOS), if you fly over the mountain gap it's your responsibility how far you go, but if you keep the drone VLOS then AGL shouldn't exceed 120m from the mountain wall, so everything is according to the rules if one just uses common sense).

The new "voice" is arguably there...when "she" announces "The Homepoint Has Been Updated", but as DJI has repeatedly ignored pleas for years to at least speak Battery state, altitude, speed, etc. Apparently DJI finds this totally uncalled for and technically impossible...

so I tried version 1.10.6 and I can also set the height to 500 meters without any problem. so you can update.

Beside the new voices, what other reason is there to update from .1 to .6 ??

We already have the 500 metres in the .1 firmware....

Everything is back using 1.10.6.      

1.10.6 doesn't appear to be available from the download centre... It's still showing 1.10.4 as of this morning...

I just came back to the forum to say exactly that... The download is now 1.10.6 but they haven't updated the description on the download page as that still says 1.10.4.

Yep, its so impossible that Litchi has done it for years.

Having a little prompt every 20% or battery with the distance is a good sanity check.
