I've had a focusing issue with my Mavic Pro 2 for a long time.

It seems to have one focus point and cannot get out of that. I've tried resetting it, formatting the SD card, and just generally messing with a lot of the video/picture settings such as iso/shutter etc. I've attached a couple photos so you can see the focusing issue. I've also tried different SD cards and some of the recommended ones.

It has had this problem multiple times it usually just fixes itself after in storage for a bit. This drone has been a headache, it did it a week after warranty was up (did it twice within the warranty period but it fixed itself next time I turned it on so I didn't think much of it). Looks like replacing the camera is easy, but about 600-700 dollars on eBay/Amazon.

Anyone have any experience with this issue? I have searched and most people just unlock manual focus to fix something similar, I don't believe it's that issue for me. I also have tried touching the screen to change what it's focusing on, that doesn't help either.

Hi, 3ric. I'm sorry about the troubles you're experiencing with the drone. If you have already tried using the Manual focus and dragged then focus control bar and does not help,  can you please try the steps below?

1. If the focus mode is set to AF and the focusing fails, confirm the following information:
The minimum focus distance of Mavic 2 Pro is 24-28 mm. Please check whether the object captured is too close to the product. If the distance between the object and the product is smaller than the minimum focus distance, the footage may be blurry
2. Whether the shooting environment is appropriate. For instance, there is a serious lack of light at night or overexposure due to strong light. Try doing it in a different location with good lighting conditions if you have not tried it yet.
3. Please reset the camera parameters and shoot again to check if the issue is alleviated.
4. Please check whether the lens fogs up or is dusty. If yes, please use a soft cloth to clean the lens and let it stand in the use environment before shooting again.
5. The operating environment range of Mavic 2 Pro is -10°C to 40°C. If it's not within the required operating temperature of your shooting environment, the product imaging quality may be affected.

If the issue persists after the abovementioned operations have been tried. We recommend that you send your aircraft back to our Repair Center by going here for further diagnosis. Thank you for your understanding and support.

I tried all those, thank you Tony.  I don't think it will be worth it to fix.  The drone is not worth the price of the gimbal/camera setup ($700).
