Hi im currently going through this with DJi & Adobe.

Test 1

XLR 1 = Shotgun mic
3.5mm = Rode Wireless input .

I see on the screen and hear the different audio channels in each ear but when i inport them to premier pro i only get one source with two tracks combined, the right sources but one audio track.

Test 2

XLR 1 = Shotgun mic
XLR 2 = XLR adapter to Rode Wireless input

I see and i hear both audio sources in each ear and visually on the screen, when i import to Premier i see only one audio track with two sources inside.

When i do similar with my Canon C300 MK3 i get the seperate audio inputs which makes my workflow much faster and easier.

Adobe support tried to import into premier to sperate but could not find a way, they took into Audition and said it might be possible to export into different mono tracks, but this seems like more wasted time.

Yes i could pull the audio form the wireless transmitters but what if i want to record two xlr mics?

Am i doing something wrong, expecting DJI to do the same thing?

Screenshot shows DJI and then Cannon import from media.

Adobe have been helpful and contacted me back, the work is:

1) Duplicate the video file in Premier
2) Right click modify
3) Select Audio Channels
4) Change from stereo to mono (note if L or R is selected)
5) Right click modify on copy
6) Select Audio Channels
7) Change from stereo to mono
8) Import into sequence
9) Unlink the layers and drag the audio down
