Automatic mode with difficult lightning conditions.

The Roman Bridge at Saint-Thibéry was a bridge on the Via Domitia in southern France.
The partly surviving structure crossed the river Hérault.

Video shot with DJI Avata and stabilized with gyroflow.

Beware that this location is not "free to fly" as located in urban area.
you will need the following :
- drone pilot licence
- flight plan (category "specific scenario S3") registered on french "alphatango" drone platform
- clearance from Hérault préfecture

What an interesting artefact. Even less of it remains than that of the original  Pont D'Avignon

Stunning video!!! I'm still afraid to send my Avata over water....I've listened to too many stories on here of flights ending in disaster (I've also heard horror stories of the Mini 2 over water but I completely trust my Mini 2) The advantage of flying in such a restricted space, you end up with a unique video and others will get to see the bridge in a way most won't have the opportunity to. Thanks for sharing!!!!

Yep you are right it's always rather scaring to fly over water...
I never dared to fly over water in manual mode... always in auto sport mode with remote fpv.
And I avoid to stop moving to avoid the bottom sensor to take the lead as it can do on mini series... It's often blinded by water reflexion, causing auto landing or crash. (never got this with my avata !)
