All,

When shooting hyperlapse what I see on the screen is not what I get. The bottom is always cut off. This is especially frustrating when shooting a sunrise and the horizon is missing. Is this normal? Is there a way to fix?

Thank,
Bill

If there is too much shake from one image to another yes the images will be cropped a lot.
Try shooting in smaller interval & when wind speed are low.

Moreover when you shoot hyperlapse its shooting images in 4:3 & shows a crop overlay in yellow color, the output video will be cropped to get 16:9 ratio video.

I think it's under the camera tab, turn on "Frame" This will show 4 corners on the screen. When you tap the screen, a yellow dashed box will show up for a fer seconds, This is the actual area of the finished Hyperlapse.

Thank you for the info. I was putting the horizon right at the bottom of the screen to maximize the sky view. I won't do that anymore and I'll check the frame to see the 4 corners.
