I am planning to go to Grece from Canada and fly my DJI Mini 3 Pro for fun.
According to links below, I need to register as Operator.
In Canada I am a certified drone Pilot as Basic, Advanced.

According to Authorization Request from HCAA (pdf below), I need to provide Flight Start/End Date & Time, Takeoff / Landing Location and Flight Polygon Coordinates.
If I am planning to fly on multiple locations, should I provide a separate Authorization for each place?

Any other information I can have for flying the Mini 3 pro in Greece?

Regards,
Chris

As part of the OPEN category, registration is compulsory for operators:
UAS that has a mass of less than 250 g but:
  • can operate at speeds greater than 90km / h
  • are equipped with a camera or a microphone, if these UAS are NOT toys

Procedure for obtaining your Flight Authorization from HCAA:

First time, its EASA so can register in any European country and its valid.

Ireland, Cyprus and others have good, English language websites and tests for doing that so i'd suggest using those for the initial registration.

Then its the form as you linked.

And yep, separate authorisation for each phase.  Not always that easy given wind and other conditions. Day before is usually fine.

The main issue is on some islands, the size of them means the entire island is too close to an airport.

The important is to keep away form airport areas and military areas, Check before with UAV Forecast application

For me, this information below is very important. You dont need any registration for that. And this is good for 360 panoramas. Can someone comment this?

Greece allows tourists to fly drones for recreational purposes in free-fly zones as long as they are flown within 50 meters (160 feet) radius of the operator. To find which zones are free-fly zones, we encourage you to use the free Drone Aware app provided by the Greek Authorities: Drone Aware Greece.

What apps on portable can I use to see the no fly zone for Greece?
I did try "UAV Forcast", "DJI Fly", "Drone Forecast" and all show the same access for some sports on Greece, comparing to "Drone Aware GR" (https://dagr.hasp.gov.gr/) which shows more restriction, but is only a browser web application, not portable.

This is incorrect.
Greece is a bit problematic when it comes to the data their official websites have, and I spent quite a bit of time researching this topic in the last few years...

So first a bit of background:
With the today's not-so-new EU drone regulations, the drone rules in EU countries are defined in two different levels:
-We have the EU drone regulations, which directly apply in each of the countries (as opposed to EU directives, for which each country needs to implement local laws which implement them). National regulations aren't allowed to change any of the rules in the EU-level regulations, so countries can't offer their own special exceptions any more.
-Then, we have the laws of each nation, which govern everything not already defined in the EU drone regulations, such as how exactly are the zones defined, how are privacy rules interpreted, insurance for drones below 20 kg, photo and filming permissions and so on.

So in theory, rules are supposed to be same in the whole EU, but countries have enough "room" for their own regulations, so that in practice, each country has its own rules.

Now we come to Greece.
Before the EU regulations, Greece, like many other countries, had its own regulations, and the free-fly zones seem to be a part of that.
Greece is also a bit sloppy with its official websites, and to me, it looks like the Hellenic Airspace Operator and the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority are shifting the responsibility for having clear regulations from one to another.
So the 50 meter radius was in the old version of HCAA form, which has been mostly removed from their official websites, but can still sometimes be found on some websites which HASP maintains. Also, the free zones have been removed from the Drone Aware GR site. The green permitted zones are still in the list on the top left, but have been removed from the map.

Currently, the request form is here: http://www.ypa.gr/en/HCAA_UAS_FLT_request_editable.pdf which you found out, and the instructions on how to fill it out are here: http://www.ypa.gr/userfiles/fa3c ... %20Instructions.pdf which also explain how to properly select the area where you want to fly in DAGR.

In-depth details of drone rules in Greece seem to be available here: https://demo.hasp.gov.gr/smhea/ in Greek, and Google translate does seem to work well with the site. From the links of that page, this one seems to be the most interesting, with lots of details: https://demo.hasp.gov.gr/smhea/vohtheia/ This page: https://demo.hasp.gov.gr/erwthseis-apanthseis/ has a manual for the use of the website with zones. It mostly focuses on Greek operators, but it has a bit of interesting information: If you're flying outside of any of the zones (so you don't need a permission), you're supposed to check the zones right before flight, and if your flight lasts for more than 30 minutes, then every 30 minutes while flying.

In my experience, what enikdem wrote is also correct: The authorities do not seem to bother drone operators too much, if they're behaving well. This leads many operators who are tourist not to bother too much with the paperwork and figuring out websites in detail, but at the same time, if you don't have the correct paperwork, and you get into an accident, or simply for unrelated reason a crack-down on unregulated use happens, you could end up in trouble.

Also, unfortunately, I was unable to find any applications which have Greek zone maps, and given their 30 minute rule, it would very well be the case that there aren't any which maintain up-to-date maps. On the other hand, on my android phone, I have no issues opening the official website (although it's a bit difficult to use with a small screen).

Thats terrible advice.  The app has no useful coverage of legal zones in pretty much any legal country.

You absolutely have to use the HCAA site.

HCAA is the only place.

And yes its portable, bookmark it on your mobile browser.  Then it works on your phone just as an app does.
