Question
The LRF  and SRT file extensions that are created on the sd card along with the MP4 files are they need to be
saved when copying the card to computer?

LRF is only needed if you want to use them as proxy files for the MP4,  the SRT files are subtitles that show settings and location has you were flying.

I wish that DJI would give us the option to disable the LRF files. They actually take up a sizeable amount of space after a lot of filming and also add a bit of unwanted time when transferring files off the card.

All these years we've survived without LRF files and now we apparently need them?

Hi, Steven. This is a low-resolution file generated simultaneously when recording, and LRF files are MP4, which can be viewed by any media player. There is no option to turn it off but you can use this file to playback videos.

Please can you pass on to the teams that some people want the option to disable recording of these files. They take up unnecessary space on SD cards.

I've just checked my SD card from yesterday's shoot - 18GB of clips, 1.8GB of LRF files, so I'm losing 10% of all my SD card's space to these useless files.
