Occasionally the videos I record have rotated and I didn't rotate the camera, can I rotate the video to the orintation I want? I want them horizontal not vertical.
Also, I'm considering buying the Action 4, do the batteries from the Action 3 work in the Action 4?
Hi, Jiker69. Thank you for reaching out. Is the Orientation Lock on or off under settings? Can you please provide us a sample video showing the settings and while recording as well?
The Osmo Action 4 and Osmo Action 3 batteries are interchangebale.
Thank you for the reply. Maybe I wasn’t clear about my request but is it possible (with specific software) to rotate a video that has been recorded to a different orientation?

Hi there. Sorry for the late response. Yes, you may check any 3rd party editing software if you want to rotate or change the orientation of the video that you recorded. Make sure to enable the Orientation Lock (after you choose the orientation you want) and turn it off if you don't want this function. Hope this helps. Have a good one.

I have the same issue. I have Osmo Action 3 mounted upside down on my bike. Today out of 20 movies 4 are upside down. Why does that happen? Can that be fixed? I haven't been able to create a new topic on the forum about that.

Kindly proceed and check the “Orientation Lock” function in the Settings page. Let us know if the issue persists.
Should you have any other questions, kindly message us for assistance. Thank you.
you'll need to Rotate 90 degrees and also enlarge . if upside down simply do a 180 programs and editors will do the work
