Pocket 3 is much bigger than Pocket 1 and 2.
Its case makes it even bigger... too chuncky to carry in the pocket.

This really reduce the usability of this camera as an every day carry.



I used to use PGYTECH's compact gimbal cover for Pocket 1 and it was brilliant.
But there is nothing like this for Pocket 3.



So I made one myself out of a plastic sheet.

1~2 hours of crafting.





Same design as the old cover.





Pocket 3 become a true pocket camera.
I can put it in my pocket now.

I trace measured it on the paper and trimmed the cut plastic parts by manually fitting to the gimbal.

So no pattern I can share.

Cool, but I wonder what would happen if the on button is accidentally pressed in your pocket. Hopefully the gimbal won’t be damaged..

Since OP1, it has gimbal protection which release the motor tension if detect the high torque.
So it will abort gimbal initialization movement without damaging it if cover is on.

Pretty ugly this cover and no protection for the further parts.

No other parts need to be covered because whole thing goes into my pocket.
Look at my OP1 with gimbal cover.
After 5 years of heavy use has no scratch or damage on it.
About the looks, it's diy after all.

Ah I saw this model before.

Yes,   seems nothing yet has turned up for the Pocket 3,  I was hoping to find a GoPro compatible mount for it that I can use in the car.

Interesting idea. Although I like my Pocket 2 to be protected when it's in my pocket
