Hi! I recently bought a DJI mavic 3T to do thermal mapping. we would like to do make a large ortomosaic with metashape and i can get it to work but al i can get is JPEG from my drone. DJI's website says i should be able to change to R-JPEG but i cant. is this a bug? is this going to be fixed? This drone is going to be pretty limited if i cant use R-JPEG.

They are R-JPEG. If you open the exif you will be able to see the data. You don't choose the format. Either you save the thermal images in JPEG format with their calibration included in the Exif (R-JPEG) "_T", or in pure JPEG format which corresponds to the RGB "_V" images. You can save both at the same time.





You need to use the thermal SDK to convert them to TIFF before putting them into Metashape. Otherwise it will result in a grayscale orthophoto without value unit.

It's been a long time since I used this crap. From memory, IRP -s -a -o.

Don't expect amazing results, it's a very low-end thermal camera. It is good for carrying out inspections on electrical connectors for example. For mapping this is not recommended at all.
