Can anybody explain DJI's rationale for not letting me set my RTH height to, say, eight feet?

Seems like, if I am flying under tree cover, an RTH height of sixty-some feet is going to result in Bad Things happening if I foolishly fly it to below 30% remaining battery and then freeze up and fail to cancel RTH in time.

There has tb a reason, but what?
