Hey community!
I've been using the Osmo Pocket 3 as a webcam, and it's fantastic! However, I've encountered an issue when trying to use it on my Mac with Microsoft Teams - it displays a black screen.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? I'm hoping that the developers could enhance the camera firmware to ensure compatibility with Microsoft Teams on Mac.
Let's discuss and share any insights or solutions if you've come across a fix for this. Your input would be greatly appreciated!

I am facing the same issue myself!

It works fine on the photo booth app but not on Microsoft Teams Classic.

Edit : Finaly after reboot it works on both OBS 30.0.0 and Teams web on Chrome.

I am using:
-Microsoft Teams Classic Version 1.6.00.29954.
-MacOs 14.1.1 (23B81) /MacbookPro 13-inch, M1, 2020.

Unfortunately, I cannot test a newer version of Teams as I am using a workstation managed by the organization. It would be great if someone else could still test with a newer version of Teams on the same MacOs version, with a similar Mac configuration.

same problem here. Zoom - ok, Skype on Mac (newest version): only black frame, although Pocket 3 is detected as camera source. Very annoying as my broadcasting company is using Skype for Life Reporting

I have the same problem. Black screen in Teams. I have found a workaround that seems to work. In OBS I choose the OsmoPocket3 as a source (without even starting the virtual webcam). Then it appears in Teams (set to OsmoPocket3).

If I switch the video source in Teams it will be black again. Then I go back to OBS and select another input as source, and then back again to OsmoPocket3).

It’s not a solution, but it appears to work.

Small update: I received the latest Teams update for my work computer (Teams version 23320.3107.2575.3762). The black window still seems to appear when OsmoPocket3 is selected as the camera.

More about this in the message thread. Pocket 2 does not support webcam functionality out of the box.

Same problem for me (DJI Pocket 3 with last firmware + IMac) ! Works with Zoom, FaceTime and Messenger. But black screen in Skype/Teams....  Please correct the problem asap ;-)

Webcam feature works intermittently on some web based applications (like Google Meets and Teams). My camera disconnects from the application after about ~7 minutes everytime without fail! In order for it to work again I have to leave the call and come back each time this happens. It is extremely frustrating, as the mean reason for purchasing this camera is to use it as a webcam. Please fix in firmware update!!!

Is there any update on this? For it not to support the biggest business collaboration application on the market is a bit dumb. And asking us to install a 3rd party application (OBS) is just not viable when you are on a corporate computer.

It just does not work, not on any teams platform with MacOS, it's a drag. I bought the cam for that purpose, just fix it....
