I was charging my Pocket 3 with USB cable pluged into my PC.

But after an hour, it stops charging and turned on.

You know what happen when it turns on.

Gimbal rotates.


Pocket 3 was lay down with USB plugged into its bottom USB port.

And gimbal rotated to push Pocket itself around.


It would be problematic if Pocket 3 was inside the case and gimbal motor strained or it rotated itself off the table.

I could have been just my computer or the USB connection issue but any of the other issues should turn the camera on.


So be careful when you charge your Pocket 3 on PC.

Yeah, I feel a bit nervous when plugging in something to the usbc, so I always take it out of it’s case and make sure the head won’t get damaged by turning in an unexpected way.

The Pocket 3 switches off the gimbal when it detects resistance, but I do the same thing. Safety first.

I usually have the unit on its tripod and the small extension when charging, with no case.
