Purchased the M3T due to the value associated with the onboard thermal capabilities. I understand this does not possess the mechanical shutter as does the M3E. However, if attempting to use the M3T for mapping, would it just take much longer requiring the system to log images further apart and drone in turn travel much more slowly? Please also take into account, we utilize RTK accessories to maximize positional accuracy. And if not carrying survey-level compliance, is this capable enough for other applications? Is there software any of you use to help with these weaknesses?

The rolling shutter can be accounted for and mostly corrected in software like Metashape and others. The M3T doesn't handle RTK the same as the M3E does. It is talked about here:

This post is actually a result of my interest in mapping our 27acre property to create a solid model in STEP format so we have an environment to use for future layouts/renderings.
