I check the FAA site weekly to see if they have approved the Air 3. So far nothing shows that they have accepted or approved that model. When I fly, I check with an app and it shows RID is transmitting.

I was told that DJI has submitted the paperwork to the FAA for RID so why doesn't it show up on the FAA site and when will it get approved?

I bought this model specifically since it has RID installed.

This seems to be a back and forth issue.  FAA said DJI needs to submit the necessary paperwork.  One of the DJI Mods said it had been submitted.  At least the Air 3 is transmitting RID.  Here's a link to the Mod's comments.

Great news. FAA has accepted the AIR 3 to RID Declaration of Compliance on Nov. 28, 2023. I am good to go now.
