I already see people complaining that they cant update the RC to 1.40010
rc does not need update to latest FW 1.40010. if you are at 132 FW
Its is clearly stated in the release notes.

Thank god Ray there is already umpteen threads on "Oh I haven't read the release notes but why isn't the RC updating"....................... sheeeez
Also aborting the firmware update while it's in progress is another example of failure to read the release notes or Sploodges great thread on updating the firmware
Yet we get the "My bird is making a strange sound and wont turn on what do I do"

im sure its just a funny question to test, but in case i am wrong:

In accordance with Microsoft documents, Win95 and all it's later updates (/98/Me) are designed and can utilize up to 4 GB of RAM.
as far as hard drive size:  u have the windows 95 fat16 and 3gb barrier, now u can create various partitions, blah blah blah.

and lastly: why do u want to use  win95 on an intel dual core cpu???why isnt it in the metal scrap heap already???

I thought the partition was 2 gb for 95.

And yes, this was a test.

My cad work station is a dual quad core Xeon 5460 machine with more ram than my first MAC hard drive.

One play lap top is a second gen i7 machine with 16gb ram. I used to be able to go thru the employee purchase program and get a machine a year. Whatever the company purchased that had no problems after 6 months went into contention as a machine I had interest in. I've had Win 10 for just over a month and other than the all seeing all knowing Microslop license BS, it's much faster than Win 7 Ultimate.

The thing I like the best about Win 10 is the task manager. They actually have some useful information available without having to download third party programs.

I think you perhaps took his WIN 95 seriously. I don't think WIN 95 has been a viable operating system for a very long time. I just automatically assume he was joking, hence my joke about a Timex Sinclair (which didn't even have any graphics anyway!)

Back in my Apple II+ days I paid $139.95 for a 16k RAM card so I could run CPM.
That took my venerable Apple machine all the way up to 64k RAM!

My first MAC circa 1986 had a 16MHz processor, 2 megs of ram and a 20 meg hard drive. Grand total of $4k. I was flying with a 4800 baud modem.

Cheep memory and storage prices is what has driven the sloppiness of today's programmers.

When work stopped supporting MAC, I was forced into PC's. Half the price of a MAC but required up-grading every two years.

Am having trouble downloading the firmware on my elite 1982 Sinclair ZX-Spectrum gaming rig......for  some reason it doesn't know what the internet is??

You don't happen to know when an update will be ready for my Vic 20 do you?

But they could be more clear... for instance it is telling you that the RC must be fully charged... why if the RC is not needed to update the Go app?

The release notes does not really explain if the RC and tablet need to be connected to update the software on the tablet.

When I followed the instructions and got to the point where the new software was to show up... there was none. Checking the build I had installed it was 2.1 not 2.2... So I closed the software and used the apple store to update the software... not through the existing software as shown... I hope it works.

you updte the app thru app store
if rc had 132 fw previously, it does not need update, if it had older fw then:
if A version use thumb drive to update
if B version u should be able to update directly thru the dji go app

i am afraid there is a lot of language barrier. you just need to look at some of the web content that dji put out for this new fw. the grammar is very bad in places, so u can imagine how the translation can get lost for the instructions!!

A few years back, a friend went to one of the trade shows, where the vendors have the manufacturers they represent on a sub-sized CD, slightly larger than a business card. He inserted it into one of the slot loading DVD players and it got jammed inside.

I enjoyed your comment and took it in jest, but i think your point is exactly rayrokni's.  Bad grammar distracts from the message.

oddly in a comment for a post in a thread it really doesnt matter.  For published instructions on a critical update, that may brick your DJI Phantom 3 Professional, grammar and spelling should be correct.
