Hello all and thanks for reading my post.  I have only owned my 2+ for a couple of weeks now and this was the first flight venturing out of the local park.  I think it came out pretty good, but open to ANY suggestions and/or tips.  I did have one question - when I am moving the camera angle (up and down) it isnt very smooth.  Is this the way I am utilizing the buttons on the iPhone display or is there an easier way to make this flow better.  Thanks for any suggestions.

I think the video quality is a little low due to Dropbox upload - looks MUCH better using raw file.

I can hel you with the camera angle that it's not smooth when you change it from the iphone, the other day I got a tip ( I havent try it yet) that in the setting of the app you put fpv mode on and you smoothly move the iphone you would get a better results! as of the video I'm having trouble loading it, try uploading it to vimeo o youtube so people can give you there opinion.

I loaded up to You Tube, but pulled it down because I was using some music that is copyrighted (Coldplay).  Also the quality didnt look so great.  Does Vimeo have the same music restrictions?  Your videos look great.  You just using music from iMovie ?

You can use music from youtube. Question what was the setting for the camera. Were you shooting in 1080 30fps ?

Pretty cool place! And very riscky for one of your first flight, good job. When I fill and i want to move the angle of the camera i stop filming, then I move it and then go back filming bc i dont like how it moves. Another tip is always take a look with the birds, I havent had anything happen but I have seen a lot get close to the copter.

Thanks for the help.  I haven't even looked at the camera settings - whatever was straight out of the box, but I will check it.  Suggestions in that regard?

I show you some settings for video and there another one for still photos.

That video describes Stills. I just went out and tried it and it works well. I noticed that there is less step down with the ISO predetermined while shooting video. The guy pretty well got it right. I am use to shooting stills with a Canon 5dIII and only use Average and or Spot metering for concert photography. I'm really not sure if the ISO and metering setting have a effect on the video. I'm going to have to go back to the manual again. LOL
This is what I thought ISO and Metering work for both stills and video. To include the white balance.

Don't know if you know it or not, but you can edit the video on YouTube and add the music they have and keep it there with no problems.

Yep! I havent try it, I do my editing in iMovie or Final Cut, about the music there are some royatty free pages where you can fine some that you can use for uploading your videos on youtube
