When I attempt to upgrade the P3P the camera status light flashes green and red for a few seconds then stays red and there is a continuous sound (not pulses).

The PX3_FW_RESULT_AB.txt file last entry is:

You seem to be upgrading from the SDK version?

The module that is failing is the "Air End USB transmit" on the aircraft.. Did you have the RC on during update? if not then from having a look about the forums, the issue is not user fixable..

Try a downgrade back to the SDK 01.04.0005 version and see if it corrects the issue.

The RC was off , this is the one that has been giving me a fit for the last 2 weeks . This is the one that want record in my earlier post

Yes, I had the SDK version.

How does one do the downgrade? If I try using the old .bin file in the SD card I get;

Also I've just noticed that the specifications for the SDK version mention "Note that you CANNOT revert to the original firmware after this update".

Looks like it still thinks you are on 01.04.0005. Format the SD and put the latest firmware on it again, give it a whirl.

As for the RC, no don't leave it on during update.. Also, since you had the SDK, there is no need to update the controller.

Ok, I'm not sure if I understand what's happening but this is what I did ...

I formatted the SD card and copied 01.04.0010 onto it, loaded it onto the mount aircraft and switched on (the camera indicator light switched to green).

The result file now ends with:

As there's no "device not detected stuff" I was optimistic.

All appeared correct at power up. When I check the About section in the application the version numbers are:

App   2.1.0
Remote Controller 1.3.20
Firmware 1.4.10
