Historical grave site where the former lord of Tottori city rests. Didn`t take many snaps of his spot, the lesser nobles had nice autumn leaves.

You are right,  in the touristy areas like Kyoto they get millions of people flocking in to look at them
at the temples etc.  Luckily I live in the least populated city in Japan. No crowds or traffic jams.
No good pubs or shops either. Just nature.

Does that mean you dont have access to the Bullet train either?

No Bullet train. My kids sometimes catch the local train to school. The train gets to a certain station sits there for 15 minutes to allow another train coming from the other
direction to pass.  There is only one set of tracks.  Some things over here are truely bizarre.
